Sebastian Merizalde

Vice President, Latin America

Mr. Merizalde is a Colombian - American entrepreneur, networker and investor with a keen focus on Real Estate, Agriculture, Consumer Goods and Tech.

During the last 10 years he has worked on multiple private equity and venture capital transactions, in Latin America, Africa and USA, playing a key role on business development, fund raising, negotiating, deal structuring and investing.

Prior to joining CNS Global Advisors, Mr. Merizalde co-founded Andean Capital Partners, a Real Estate Investment advisory firm and placement agent in the Andean Region. As head of Business development and investor relations Sebastian Merizalde was the firm’s principal local relationship manager and was responsible for business development, deal origination, investment structuring, and maintaining local partner relationships across Colombia and Panama. Sebastian worked closely with institutional investors, private investment firms, real estate developers, single & multi-family offices and government agencies in the US and Latin America. Under his command, the firm participated in a number of transactions with an aggregate value of over US$50M.

Mr. Merizalde currently sits on the Advisory Board of More Organic, a San Francisco based organic agriculture development firm, focused on the development of organic farming in Latin America. He also serves in the Board of Farm Folio Holdings, a US-based early stage agriculture development fund. As an advisor to both companies, Mr. Merizalde is responsible for providing strategic business focus and playing a role in business development, investor relations, negotiations and structuring strategic partnerships.

Mr. Merizalde was born in Bogotá, Colombia and holds a Bachelor in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami’s School of Business. Prior to attending the University of Miami; Sebastian attended Bentley College in Boston.
